Julia's Week of "Firsts"

Here are some pictures of Julia and her new experiences during her first week of life...
First trip in the car, on the way home from the hospital Tuesday.

Julia met Grandpa Mark, "Papa," for the first time on Wednesday. She slept in his arms here for the entire time he was here.

Julia's first time in her stroller. We went for our first walk downtown on Thursday, it was beautiful outside. Julia did very well! |

Julia had her first doctor's appointment on Friday. Here she is with her favorite nurse, Madonna. Everyone in the office was so excited to meet her! |
Dr. Harsha gave Julia a clean bill of health, she looks perfect!

Dad helping Madonna measure Julia's length, she measured 19 and 1/2 inches. She either grew an inch in 5 days, or she measured a little short at birth.

Julia weighed in at 6 pounds 4 ounces on Friday, only one ounce from her birth weight. Quite impressive considering she was discharged on Tuesday at 5 pounds 13 ounces. |
Julia met Aunt Miss for the first time on Friday. Miss didn't put her down the entire time she was here! |
