Julia's First Flight - Trip to Atlanta
December 11-14, 2008
We travelled to Atlanta in December to have an early Christmas celebration with Jon's family. Julia had her first plane ride, and did amazingly well. She was perfect waiting in the airport, as well as during both plane rides. She charmed all of the passengers and flight attendants with her smile and giggle, she played with some toyr and books, and then slept about half of each plane ride. I was very nervous that her ears would bother her during the flight (mine are horrible!), but thankfully, she didn't show any signs of discomfort.
We had a great visit with Jon's brother's family, his mom, and her husband Rob. Julia enjoyed spending time with her cousins and even did a little shopping. Julia stood on her own (while holding onto the ottoman) for the first time while we were in Atlanta. She was so proud of herself! Jon's mom put together a lovely Christmas brunch on Sunday morning and Julia was spoiled with Christmas gifts!
