The Season's First Big Snowfall
Sunday, December 16, 2007
We finally got our first decent snowfall this weekend. We woke up this morning with about 5 inches or so on the ground. On top of that, the wind was blowing so hard, that the accumulation was more in some areas and you had to face the South in order to not have a frozen face full of snow. We were outside playing with Biscuit, he loves digging through big piles of snow to find his tennis ball. Soon, all the other neighborhood dogs were outside playing and running around. The boys thought it was fun to throw snowballs at the dogs and than watch them chase after the missing "ball." It was so cold out that day, Roxy even had to wear her fleece jacket to keep warm. The morning made for great pictures!
Then, to top it off, I made waffles and sausage for a nice, hot breakfast. I think I had my first pregnancy craving this morning, I never really am hungry for foods like sausage or bacon, but this particular morning I NEEDED sausage for breakfast. Luckily we have a grocery store right across the street, so Jon was kind enough to run to O'Malia's to get some. Breakfast was complete!
