Trip to Atlanta in November, 2007
We spent the first weekend of November in Atlanta visiting Jon's brother Jeff, his wife Katie, their kids, and Jon's mom and her husband, Rob. We originally were going to go to Atlanta for Thanksgiving and go to the Colt's game on Thanksgiving day, but plane tickets were very expensive over the holiday weekend, so we went a few weeks earlier and saved about $300! This was my first plane trip being pregnant, and thankfully it was an uneventful flight and easy traveling. It was a fun (and crazy!) weekend visiting Jon's family. We finallly got to meet Jeff and Katie's new baby, Jack. He was born in August, so he was about 3 months old; Jessica is now 5 and Nicholas is 3 years old. We got to do a little shopping, Katie took me to Babie's R Us and helped me sort through all of the baby gear I will soon need, it was so helpful! Jon and Jeff played a round of 18 holes. Jeff actually won this time, I think this was only the third time ever! Saturday night we went out to a trendy, new Atlanta restaurant, the Lobby at Twelve. It was a great, busy visit, here are some pictures. The kids are adorable!
